Pho Ha Tien
Pho Ha Tien (1900 Ocean Avenue)
Broth: 6/10
Meat: 6/10
Noodles: 3/5
Bonus: +1
Total: 16
The pho itself was not exceptional, but you can’t really have bad pho. The service was extremely fast and the imperial rolls were decent as well. The broth was very beefy but there was very little spice flavor and it was a bit oversalted. Noodles came stuck together in a block so only 3/5. Meat had a good texture as it was not to soft or chewy, but the broth had more beef flavor than the meat itself which is not a good sign. The add-ons came with a lot of bean sprouts and cilantro, which are my preferred add-ons but had they had lemons instead of limes (limes are my preferred citrus).
