Le Soleil

Le Soleil (133 Clement St):

Broth: 8

Meat: 7

Noodles: 4

Total: 19

When I sat down, I immediately noticed that there was no sriracha or hoisin sauce at the table. Instead, they came in a separate dish with the bean sprouts and basil. The menu was very diverse and had a lot of different non-pho options, which is nice if you’re bringing a large group of people. The broth had a decent balance between the meaty flavor and the spices. The meat was extremely tender but a little bit dry and didn’t have much flavor. The noodles were average but they came already separated for a nice change of pace. In addition, the pho came with lemons instead of limes, and although it doesn’t make much of a difference, I prefer limes. Overall, not the best restaurant, but I would come back.
